7B Software, Inc. was incorporated in January of 1994. Prior to 7B's incorporation, founder and 7B Software President Mark E. Smith worked in the computing industry for fourteen years as a Member of the Technical Staff of Bell Laboratories, Inc.

Since founding 7B Software, Smith has been solving problems for clients in the fields of Visualization, Enterprise Architecture, Service Oriented Architectures, RESTful architectures, situational awareness, DoD-quality security engineering, and TCP/IP network programming. Though his work has not been limited to any one particular tool or technology, he has specialized expertise in Javascript, Java, C, C++, and Tcl/Tk.

With offices located in Herndon, VA and Vero Beach, Florida, 7B Software has consulted for clients in many locations. We would be pleased to work closely with your company's engineering staff. Typically this arrangement works best when we work for short periods of time in your offices (hammering out requirements and reviewing software architectures, for example), while doing the bulk of the work at our own site.
